The Big Book 

ImageThe "Big Book" is a slang term used to describe the text Alcoholics Anonymous.  The book is not only an introduction into the 12 Step Program, but also helps alcoholics and friends and family of alcoholics to a specific solution.  Many people who do not specifically call themselves alcoholics use the book because of its amazing ability to outline the 12 Steps in such a direct and clear way.  We quote the book regularly here on our website and in our recorded meetings as well as using it in our daily lives.
