Giving and Receiving!
November is upon us which means... Thanksgiving.... which means we are looking at the idea of what it means to give (... and receive). This month we rely on what A Course and Miracles says about giving, that whatever we give out we must receive. Both of our articles this month look directly at this idea and how it can be applied in our daily life, practically, today.
Giving is something that we are always doing, we can't help it. God created us to give. At this moment we are choosing what it is we are giving and receiving for ourselves.
Through the 12 Steps we can truly celebrate Thanksgiving, being grateful that we are sober and clear to actually feel the overwhelming grace that comes from giving. Without our connection to God and our dependence on Him we would never know what it truly means to receive and give. We are grateful for every moment we realize the new life we are given now.
We invite you to join us in this moment of thanks, to you, to ourselves, to God and all our brothers. Without this revelation of love and gratitude we would be lost, alone, and afraid. We are grateful that now we can experience who we really are... God's Love (forever giving and receiving) and fully worthy of everlasting happiness.

It is only the
awareness of the body that makes love seem limited. For the body is a limit on love. The belief in
limited love was its origin, and it was made to limit the unlimited. Think not
that this is merely allegorical, for it was made to limit you. Can you who see yourself within a body know yourself as an
idea? Everything you recognize you identify with externals, something outside
itself. You cannot even think of God without a body, or in some form you think
you recognize.
When we truly receive the gifts of God and the truth of who
we are, we naturally give these ideas and feelings away.
What is it to give without attachments, without a sense
