Step Seven: Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.


Faithfulness is the teacher of God's trust in the Word of God to set all things right; not some, but all. Generally, his faithfulness begins by resting on just some problems, remaining carefully limited for a time. To give up all problems to one Answer is to reverse the thinking of the world entirely.
Once you've asked your Higher Power to remove your selfishness, then with that Power's help you can practice unselfishness instead. Slowly, your old mental habits can die and be replaced by new ones.
When ready, we say something like this:
"It was just a moment. But I had let go. I had let God. Immediately He rushed in. I was filled with Love so overwhelmingly and abundantly that anybody that came near me was immediately pulled into the rapturous joy of my resurrecting experience!"
