Step Twelve: Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Simply by never using weakness to direct your actions, you have given it no power. And the light of Christ in you is given charge of everything you do.
Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps – notice this is past tense. It's happening to you! First you work it, then it works you. 
If you persist, remarkable things will happen. When we look back, we realize that the things which came to us when we put ourselves in God's hands were better than anything we could have planned.
The Spiritual Awakening is a Miracle given to me by God. From now on I have nothing to do with my life – I am a minister of God. Through the Grace of God I live and keep my sane life. I have to give it away.
